Flippin’ brilliant. Such fun turns the villanelle on it’s head. My favorite line (one of many) was “The little crook pulls out a wad of cash, slides a fifty with a lick”…

I’m in the UK, we have Girl Guides rather than Girl Scouts. But nowadays the girls can join the Boy Scouts, which have been renamed the Scouts, so I guess they would be Girl Scouts….

Kimberly, Welcome!! I’m relatively new here also, but it’s a great group of poets, talent and kindness alike.

Girl guides, Crafty? I’ve never heard them called that. I wasn’t a girl scout myself, so maybe I don’t know the lingo.

Be careful, Mary!! hehe They’re not all as tame as Crafty’s girls.

This is a gem. I love the lines “old, perverted cookie feign” and “shortbread grin.” Great poem. I can’t wait to get my order in this week. I think I only ordered 5… but then there are always the girls with their tables in front of Whole Foods…

It’s great finding good poetic humor when I’m having a hard time sleeping. Laughter makes up for a lot. Now I’m hungry . . . where did I hide those boxes?
